Grubhub will begin offering office supplies on its platform through its partnership with Office Depot, its first partner in the category.
More than 6000 Office Depot items will be offered on Grubhub’s marketplace, including laptops, printers, ink, paper products, writing supplies, and tech accessories.
Citing a survey, Grubhub said that more than 80 per cent of administrators experienced running out of essential supplies they need the same day and 67 per cent said they would prefer supplies to be delivered the same day they place an order.
“Adding office supplies to our marketplace reflects our commitment to being a platform where customers can get more of what they need,” said Craig Whitmer, VP of new verticals at Grubhub.
Office Depot is part of Grubhub’s loyalty program that provides unlimited $0 delivery fees on eligible orders.
